I have thoroughly enjoyed the super bloom of California poppies that grow in my yard. They have been accents in many paintings I have created. With fall upon us and winter nearing the days of my summer muse will soon be gone. It was time that I created a painting focusing on the beauty of the plant alone. Capturing the joys in paint will uplift those dreary days ahead.
