“Breathe It In” is a vibrant impressionistic oil painting that captures the brilliance of Crested Butte’s wildflower fields set against the dramatic backdrop of the Precarious Peaks in the Maroon Bells–Snowmass Wilderness. The sweeping valley, vibrant flowers, and glowing mountains capture the overwhelming feeling I had standing in the midst of it all. When nature feels so grand, I can only pause, exhale, and take it in so I may reflect on it later.
