This 10x20" vibrant impressionistic oil painting is inspired by the most challenging medical year of my life, when I found myself begging for more. More time with those I love, more of a healthy body, more time in nature, more in my career- but when I slowed down and took stock of my life in this very moment along the Slate River in Crested Butte, CO, all was answered. What more could I ask for in that moment than to remember this cherished gift.
 
What I love about this landscape and the story it reflects upon is the reminder to slow down, all we need is right in front of us.
