This 20x30" vibrant impressionistic oil painting is inspired by the hike my husband and I completed in July 2020 and the hike he proposed to me in Leadville, CO. When he proposed, he didn’t have a long speech or even a speech on how our lives were changed with the addition of each other in our lives. Instead, it was a simple, heartfelt question, “Will you marry me?” To which I said without hesitation, “Of course.”
 
What I love about this landscape and the story it reflects upon is the enthusiasm that bubbles up when we spend time with the people and places we love.
