20x20" original oil painting
 
Inspired by my hike to Angels Landing at Zion National Park in the summer of 2018, I stopped at the very place you see in this painting.
 
Perched high above the canyon floor, I rested and watched the setting sun pour the final light across the towering rock faces. The cliffs glowed. The wind moved peacefully. The world felt vast and humbling all at once. Most importantly, silent, as I was the last of three people on the trail for the day.
 
Life offers breathtaking landscapes, but even more than that, it offers moments.
