Castleton Tower is the second depiction of Utah in the series. Every year since 2018 I have made a point to explore Moab's lovely landscape. It is a captivating place. Exploring the arches, canyons, rivers and waterfalls opens a world of wonder. It calls me back to explore further. This hike was one shared with my husband and our two dogs. In this early morning light the canyon walls beamed with colorful delight. I knew one day this scene would become a painting, so when the series Hot Summer Days was being developed I ran to this days events.
